How does it work?

Students can register for courses on the 1st day of each month except August and September. Once students have sent in their Student Enrolment Agreement and Contract together with the course payment, a distance course package will be sent via email attachment on the 1st of the month. The package contains unit commentaries and questions for each unit.

Students regularly communicate with staff via email and phone regarding course work and assignments. At the end of the course, students must write an examination under the supervision of an exam proctor in their community.

Students purchase the required textbooks through their local bookstore (college, university or community), the University of Victoria bookstore, or directly from the publisher for the Nelson, Delmar or Thomson Learning textbooks.
