Description

This course focuses on families and the way in which early childhood educators create partnerships with families. This course fulfils the requirement for the infant toddler and special needs educator program

Objectives

• To assist students to understand various family structures and to appreciate the importance of partnerships.
• To provide the student with an understanding of family centered practice.
• To assist students to develop the communication skills necessary to work with families in a child care setting.
