Description

Students will learn the skills required to communicate effectively with children, parents, co-workers and the community. The course will focus on developing self-awareness and increased sensitivity to others.

Objectives

  • To develop the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere by encouraging and supporting co-workers and parents.
  • To develop an awareness of roles - of other staff members and professionals in the community.
  • To become familiar with collaborative decision making and conflict resolution skills.
