Meet Amanda Nelson

Amanda is a proud mama of one. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Vancouver Island University, and then completed 2 years of training to earn her Early Childhood Educator Diploma. Soon after Amanda specialized in distance education by completing a 1 year certificate program in Distance Education from the University of West Georgia. Amanda has enjoyed working in early child education since 2005 and loves the time she spends teaching both adults and children. In 2008 Amanda joined us at Pacific Rim as an instructor of our diploma program. Since then Amanda has become our Program Director and has been responsible for program improvements. She is passionate about the Early Childhood Education and attends as many conferences and classes each year as she can.
